About the project

The Hütterott complex is listed as a cultural heritage site of the Republic of Croatia and consists of the summer residence, the Church of St. Andrew, and its associated historic garden. The church dates back to the early Middle Ages, while the Hütterott family remodeled the summer residence at the end of the 19th century. A comprehensive reconstruction and structural rehabilitation of the entire complex is planned, including the conversion of a significant portion of the premises into exhibition spaces.

Type of work
Reconstruction and extension, Interior design, Landscape design
Project phases
Concept design, Main architectural design

The poor-quality additions from the 20th century are to be replaced with new, more functional extensions of simple lines that integrate more harmoniously into the historic complex. The heavy wooden canopies in the atrium will be replaced with light and airy bioclimatic pergolas.
