MATRICA ARHITEKTURA IS ARCHITECTURAL OFFICE FOUNDED 2006 AND MAINLY OPERATING WITHIN THE FIELDS OF HOUSING, RECONSTRUCTIONS AND INTERIOR DESIGN.
WE ARE:
the right size – whatever our growth or reducing is, we are always somewhere inside the group of smaller companies, which means that quality of our service is always high, and we can completely concentrate on our client needs. Such work organization don't inhibit us to take over some large projects. Usually, if some large project appears, or is extremely complicate, or the deadline is unusually short, we take over the job and we are responsible for the project from start till the end but spread the working process between the few high quality associate offices, with whom we have the bussines cooperation contract and standard and easy ways of cooperation. That way we are much more flexible to response on the unsafe market demands in building industry.
mainly female – the matrica was founded by three woman architects and from the very beginning it was important for us that all design is made precisely, carefully and on time, whit great concern about detailing. All this qualities are usually connected with the females, although we don't think about ourselves as traditional, on the contrary.
in love to design – we are in constant search for the best solution for the particular space. Instead of surfing through the shops, we are design new, unique objects for some particular space. This new objects made by order are always made of local and natural materials, by local craftsmen. We often experiment, sometimes recycle, but usually we get something completely new as a result – the prototype of a furniture that will not repeat again in some other project, unique and made by order for the particular person in the particular space.
part of the knowledge network – in our office we have only architects, but regularly, on a daily basis we cooperate whit lots of companies and experts from the related disciplines - designers, conservators, restorers, archaeologists, structural designers, mechanical engineers, light designers, horticulturists, green building experts, surveyors, geotechnical engineers and lots of others, all of them playing an active part during the design phase. Whit all this associates on the project, during years we developed relationship of trust, understanding and collegiality, and that qualities reflected in the quality of our final mutual product, the project that combine all this specific knowledge into a creative, green and safe project made according to client demands.
